Parameter

The hydraulic modular trailer (HMT) is a special platform trailer unit with a swing axle, hydraulic suspension, independent steering axles, two or more axle rows, and the ability to connect two or more units longitudinally and laterally. 

A power pack unit (PPU) is used for steering and height adjustment. These trailer units are used for the transportation of oversized and overweight cargo that is difficult to dismantle.

The CAESAR  hydraulic modular trailer is used for the transportation of weight-concentrated loads, especially large transformers.

It is able to distribute abnormal weights on a hydraulic modular trailer by means of support frames and to lower the travel height with a girder axle so that oversized loads can pass under bridges and through tunnels, thus enabling the transport to be approved by the road administration.

The trailer, together with the beam, is what we call a heavy haulage trailer or beam trailer. KAESER can customize the beam frame to match the beam to the existing hydraulic modular trailer.
